The Contour strips from Ascensia (formerly Bayer) are self-coding glucose test strips for measuring the amount of glucose in the blood. For use with the Contour blood glucose meter only. The glucose test strip needs 0.6µl of blood to be able to perform the measurement. The blood drop is sucked up by the test strip. The test duration is 5 seconds. No coding before a test is necessary: the strip does this itself, automatically.
