BSN Medical Optiplast-E Bandage 8 cm x 4,5m
Optiplaste-E is a longitudinally stretchable bandage made entirely of natural fabrics (85% cotton and 15% viscose). The maximum elongation of the material is 60% (a so-called short elongation). Thanks to the woven warp threads, Optiplaste-E offers durable and powerful support and compression, combining a low resting pressure with a high working pressure. With Optiplaste-E, the degree of support or relief can also be accurately dosed. The material can be molded very well to the individual body contours. Thanks to the strong adhesive force and the long-lasting elasticity, the dressing does not slip, even after a longer period of time. The conventional zinc oxide rubber adhesive layer is applied micro-porous in strips. Thanks to the air zones between the strips, the material is breathable. This makes Optiplaste-E skin-friendly and comfortable.

Difference Optiplast-E and Optiplast-C
Optiplast-E is a thicker and heavier tape and therefore more suitable as a bandage. Optiplast-C has a thicker adhesive layer and is more permeable to air. This makes this bandage more skin-friendly and suitable as a bandage. Both types of Optiplast are water-repellent.
